Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are the gatekeepers of modern hiring. Over 98% of Fortune 500 companies use them to parse incoming CV applications. If your resume doesn't align with their target keyword structures, humans will never see your application.

1. Match Key Keywords Truthfully

Look closely at the Job Description requirements. Identify recurring core terms (such as 'FastAPI', 'Next.js', or 'Financial Modelling') and represent your experience matching those phrases verbatim.

2. Avoid Complex Multi-Column Layouts

Standard ATS parsers process CV documents from top-to-bottom, left-to-right. Fancy grid layouts or text boxes can merge separate lines, leading to garbled profiles.

3. Use Clear Standard Heading Titles

Stick to simple sections headers like 'Experience', 'Education', and 'Skills' rather than creative aliases like 'My Career Voyage'.
